Welcome to the home of the 19th annual Upstate Lacrosse Classic the tournament will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 in Fairport, NY and is sponsored by Fairport Youth Lacrosse.  Teams at the Grades 3/4 and 5/6 will be scheduled for 3 games and Grade 1/2 will be scheduled for 2 games.  Our Classic format is what makes the day so successful. We believe we offer teams the opportunity to play each other in a relaxed “non-championship game” day of lacrosse.  The Fairport Classic is a great local way to celebrate your youth season and to begin your summer tournament programs.

We are offering competition at the following levels: Boys & Girls 1^st – 2^nd grade, Boys & Girls 3^rd – 4^th grade, Boys & Girls 5^th – 6^th grade, Games will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at approximately 5:30 p.m. The schedule will be posted the week of the Classic. All registered teams will be scheduled to play throughout the day. Games will be played at Martha Brown School and Perinton Recreation Center.

We will not accept registrations from ALL STAR TEAMS

Please Note: Teams are registered on a first come first served basis upon receipt of the following Items (from the Registration Packet):

1. Registration form and fee (please note team and age level on check
2. Non-refundable Application fee(s): No gate fees for spectators
   - $275 per team (3 games) if postmarked before May 5th, 2009
   - $325 per team (3 games) if postmarked May 5th -10th, 2009
   - $200 per 1^st & 2^nd grade teams ( 2 games)before May 5th, 2009

2. Certificate of Insurance Must list:

·         “EVENT”:  Upstate Classic

·         “HELD AT”:  Martha Brown Middle School, Center Park & Fairport HS Fairport, NY 14450

·         “ADDITIONAL INSURED”:  Fairport Youth Lacrosse, Fairport Central School, Perinton Recreation & Parks

Items 4 & 5 from the Registration Packet MUST be brought to the command tent upon arrival at the Upstate Classic.

 As the game of lacrosse has grown, so have the numbers of teams towns field.  Unfortunately, our field space has not grown as much as the sport!  Therefore, even early invited teams could be closed out, making it even more critical you register early if you wish to participate.
